Products - Beauty

As a working mum, my 'favourite' haunts would be the supermarkets instead of the cosmetic counters.  I would always check out the reviews in iherb and Q0010 before I make a purchase.

Iherb

Aura Cacia Argan Oil

Argan Oil seems to be the rage and I bought this to use on my hair.  I have no complaints about this but the smell takes a while for me to get used to.  As I dread having oily hair, I would apply 10 minutes before washing my hair.  It works well for me as my hair was manageable.

Earth Science Azulene Eye Cream

I bought this because it claimed to reduce dark circles.  I noticed a slight improvement on my dark eye circles though I have been waking up at night recently due to sickness.  The colour is dull greyish blue and the texture is thick but easily absorbed by the skin.  One thing good about this product is that this is non-oily.  I didn't have good experience with some rich eye cream as they had resulted in millia seeds around the eye area.  After I had gone for the millia seed removal, I steered clear of oil based products that are too rich for my skin.

Sephora

Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup

This is my favourite foundation as it is really light weight and doesn't clog up my pores.  The promoter at Sephora recommended this to me as I was looking for oil-free product.  This product is paraben and fragrance-free.  My face definitely looked brighter and it blends and covers my flaws really well.

Products - Kids

Kiss My Face Sun Spray lotion SPF 30

This is light and easy to apply.  It doesn't result in patches and is absorbed by the skin well,  Though I sometimes used it on myself, I still prefer the cream sunscreen as it has more coverage for my skin.  It works pretty well on JD and he has fun using it on himself before his swimming lessons.   Great buy!

About Me

Just a short introduction of myself.  I am a working mum with a joyful and lovely pre-schooler son.  I may not be the best mummy in the world but I aspire to be the best mummy to my offspring just as they have their best friend forever (bff) in the later part of their lives.

I love cooking, reading and playing with my son.  Other than that, I like to explore new places with my husband.  As a typical Singaporean, I love food and enjoy exploring obscure places that serve good food.  I love reading up on healthy stuff and attend seminars, talks on health.

I hope to share the journey of my parenthood in this blog and do share with me if you know of any great finds.  Drop me an email at linglaling7@gmail.com
